Sinana Inc. ("Sinana," "we," "us," or "our") is a corporation incorporated under the federal laws of Canada, with its registered office in British Columbia. Sinana provides an AI services platform, accessible via playground.sinana.ai, the Sinana mobile app, and the Sinana API (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
When you create an account, we collect your email address, either through Google sign-in or a Cognito-managed email/password account. We don't require or request any other personal information to sign up.
To perform a task you request — translating text, transcribing audio, analyzing an image, and so on — we send the content you submit to the underlying AI provider needed to generate a result (see Section 3). We don't retain a copy of that content once your request has been processed; we don't build a searchable history of what you've submitted, and we don't use it to train any model.
We record which services you use, how many requests you make, and when, so we can enforce your plan's usage allowance and show you your own usage in the portal and mobile app. If you subscribe to a paid plan, Stripe processes your payment and shares limited account-linking information with us (such as your Stripe customer ID and subscription status) — we never see or store your full card number.
If you generate a self-serve API key, we store the key (hashed) along with its scope and rate limit settings so we can authenticate and meter requests made with it.
The Sinana mobile app keeps a local history of your recent requests and results directly on your device, for your own reference. This history is never uploaded to or stored on our servers, and doesn't sync across devices.
We don't use cookies or trackers for advertising, we don't buy or sell data about you from or to third parties, and we don't require any personal information beyond your email address to use the Service.
We rely on the following providers to operate Sinana. Each processes data only as needed to provide their part of the Service, under their own privacy and security commitments:

We don't share your data with any other third party, and we never sell your data.
We retain your account information and usage records for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward as needed for billing records, legal compliance, and fraud prevention. Content you submit to a service is processed to generate your result and is not separately retained by us afterward. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us (Section 8).
Sinana is based in British Columbia, Canada, and handles personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under other applicable law (for example, the GDPR in the EU/UK, or the CCPA in California), including the right to request a copy of your data or object to certain processing. Contact us and we'll respond to any such request.
The Service is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access-controlled cloud infrastructure, and hashed storage of API keys. No system is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to the Service.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
